Key Ingredients

Ferulic Acid – 0.25%
A high-potency antioxidant, ferulic acid acts like a shield to defend from external factors that may lead to skin discoloration (hyperpigmentation). [LATAM: delete “(hyperpigmentation)”]

  • Ferulic acid helps prevent free radical formation on the skin, and that means fewer factors that lead to discoloration.
  • It also supports skin’s antioxidant systems* to help reduce discoloration.
  • Its skin-soothing properties help limit key causes of discoloration to reduce the look of uneven skin tone and brighten skin.

Niacinamide (vitamin B3) – 3%
One of two major forms of vitamin B3, niacinamide is an essential nutrient that’s been well-recognized globally as a brightening superpower.

  • Niacinamide has been shown to significantly decrease visible skin discoloration (hyperpigmentation) [LATAM: delete “(hyperpigmentation)”] by protecting the skin’s barrier (your first line of defense against aggressors) when applied topically.
  • It also doubles as an antioxidant shown to help limit key causes of discoloration to reduce the look of uneven skin tone and brighten skin.

Navy Bean Extract (vegetable amino acids) – 3%
Mary Kay discovered navy bean extract’s effect on brightening efficacy and patented a proprietary ingredient technology on this discovery.

  • Navy bean extract is shown to significantly improve skin brightness.
  • It also reduces* visible contrast of dark spots and improves the overall appearance of uneven skin tone.

*Based on in vitro testing
